Sisu Polar is built to withstand the demanding and changing conditions of the North. The entire design process has been guided by the ambition to create a tool perfectly suited for Finnish professionals, equipped with today’s cutting-edge technology.
The 4-axle Sisu Polar Hauler reaches a maximum permitted technical gross weight of nearly 70 tons – by far the highest in the market among 4-axle heavy haul tractors.
Thanks to its advanced design, the Sisu Carrier offers excellent off-road capability. It is lightweight yet provides a high payload. Its reinforced frame, torsionally rigid chassis, and robust suspension ensure stable handling in every situation. A lightweight lift axle or tandem drive with traction disengagement and hydraulic axle lift, combined with a sophisticated axle setup, deliver agile maneuverability even in challenging conditions.
Smart structural engineering leaves plenty of free space on the loading platform, allowing machinery to be positioned as low and as far forward as possible. The factory-prepared frame dimensions and pre-installed auxiliary equipment make platform installation easy and efficient.
Thanks to its high permitted bogie and front axle load, the Carrier transports even the heaviest machinery with stability and confidence.
